Even More Conversation
I just have a few more shout-outs to make, and soon we'll be done. Besides, I left the camera in my purse in Anthony's car yesterday, so I couldn't take any pictures of the entrelac bag or anything else to show off today. You'll just have to look forward to all of my knitted goodness in a day or so.
Monica (Straight Shooter)
Hey, Monica! Way to be straightforward and go for the gold. I appreciate you commenting on my blog!
Bean (Mama to my favorite kids!)
Hey, Bean! You can use the comment section of my blog for any agenda that you feel is important. That's how much I care. I hope Grins got your message. I would post more comments on your blog, but #1) there aren't enough contests, and #2) I haven't seen the valentine's socks on your kidlets' feetsies yet, and I'm a little bitter about that. Okay, not really bitter, just anxious. Okay, not anxious either, just eager. Yeah! Eager. Oh, and I don't have your feet measurements, how am I supposed to make you socks? ;)
Nicole (Knitting Queen!)
Hey, Nicole! I just wanted everyone to know that I had to make a change to an earlier statement. I hereby declare that if Nicole wins my contest, I will knit her socks for her. I know what it is like to not have anyone knit anything for you.
Brenda (my own personal Knitting Sensei)
Hey, Brenda! You know, I really started to wonder why all of those fruit flies were constantly surrounding my yarn stash. I had pest control come in a number of times, but the fruit flies just kept coming back. At least they kept the moths at bay.
Yes, I'm really liking the entrelac bag. I like the colors, I like the variety of it, I like picking up stitches, and I'm eager to see what the bag will look like after it's felted. I've already pondered starting another one, and I have a pattern for some entrelac socks in my book that I want to try, too. Whooda thunk it?

By now you've probably figured out that no one has won the contest yet.
We're SO close!
Go here, pick out your favorite colorway, then go comment! We'll have a winner tonight!

In that batch, I'd have to say Red Rock Canyon - but I have seen Rare Gems to literally knock your Birks off your feet.
Did I remind you and your blog readers to visit my contest, too?
wow! i'm in a post! i'm special!! did i win? i can measure my feet, i promise!
Bean - why measure your feet? Take up sock knitting instead!
From their site, carbon dating rocks mah socks. :)
Quickeye - Thanks for telling me about the RSS feed prob. All fixed now.
And ktdig - you needed to make a blogger account because this blog doesn't allow anonymous comments. Just thought you'd like to know.
I like lapis and pebble beach. I guess if I win, I'll have to flip a coin. Like that will ever happen! I've probably won my life's quota already. (And you prob wouldn't let me win anyway since you're still bitter about the yarn harlot's prize thing.)
Oh how I would dearly love some Cobblestone. That being said, I have never tried entralac and I don't know that I want to. It is ever so loverly, but no, I don't think so. My sister would teach me though if I begged (she doesn't enjoy that technique either).
I just started an entrelac wrap and it really isn't hard.
This is so hard to choose just one, I also like Fire on the Mountain, Queen Rock, and Marbles. So, if I win, and I never win anything, you could surprise me with any of those 4. Ok, I think I've made your greedy list. I'm stopping now
Quickeye - Did you see the scarf style/wrap style KAL on blogspot?
You will find this weird (maybe), but as I read the comments Nicole has made I can hear her voice in my head. I have only seen her a few times at the shop, but her voice brings back so many memories of when my Tante Brigitta and Tante Giesla would come to visit and they would sit and talk with my mom ( who was Ursula). So cool....
I kinda like Queen Rock, but then I like all of them, Maybe Queen Rock a little more than the others
I've got insomnia so I poked about the Internet and came by to comment once more. Send me sympathy: the Neatnik will wake right about when I crash.
